His eyes lit up once again and a look of familiarity crossed his face for a fleeting moment before he started nodding profusely. "That’s right, it’s her! She’s the bitch that reported me. She was just an outsider passing by at that time. Her and that stupid husband of hers should have minded their own business."
Stella felt her heart sink to the pit of her stomach at that exact moment. She knew Aurelia better than he ever did. This wasn’t just a pure coincidence, it was something more than that. "This can’t be... this can’t be," she repeated, obviously in denial as disbelief was written all over her face.
"Stella, what the hell is wrong with you?" Aaron questioned, his voice laced with a mixture of shock and worry as he grabbed her shoulders and forced her to look at him.
She lifted her head to meet his eyes. "This isn’t just a coincidence, Aaron. She knows about us. She knows that you are cheating on your wife with me. She’s out to get us, she wants revenge."
