Chapter 245: Tension
Matteo threw his head back and sighed as he walked into the room. Dealing with the prospect was a hassle, but it was a big deal that was sure to turn up a whole lot of revenue for his real estate business, which was why he had to go all in dealing and discussing. But it had cost him his strength. He was completely depleted and was in need of a long bath.
However, he heard a disturbance coming from the balcony. Instinctively, he took a couple steps backward, sticking his hand into his coat as he retrieved a pistol, and a silencer from another. Slowly, and quietly, he installed the silencer, taking ginger steps as he made his way toward the balcony, where he had heard the splashing sounds.
He holds out the nozzle of the gun, pointing forward as he made his way into the swimming pool space. But when he was just about to call out, he was greeted by Amazonian seductive sight of scars and feminine beauty emerging from the water. The silky effect of pressured water cascading down her alluring back view gave her skin a likeliness to marble – like an actual Greek goddess.
Stella climbed out of the pool, unaware of the company she had. She walked toward the sunlounger that faced the balcony entrance, where she had placed her towel. And when she turned to take her seat, that was when she saw him.
"Oh fuck!" She exclaimed, jerking abruptly and reaching her hand to her chest when she discovered his sudden presence in the space.
"You scared the living shit out of me!" She said without thinking.
"I didn’t know you cursed," Matteo said with a light chuckle that made her heart flutter.
"Oh," she said in a soft voice that mirrored her embarrassment in the moment. She placed her fingers on her lips and looked away, anywhere but his face.
