Chapter 169: Past crimes
Remo stormed into the living room of his family’s well-guarded house, his fists clenched in anger.
He had just received yet another package filled with evidence of his father’s past crimes this time this time and he was sick and tired of it. If it falls into the wrong hands, chaos would happened.
"Who the hell is sending us these packages?" he demanded, his voice booming through the room.
Ares and Matteo looked up from their seats on the couch, both of them visibly shaken by Remo’s outburst.
"I don’t know, Remo," Ares sighed, frustration laced in his voice. "We’ve been trying to figure it out, but we can’t find any leads."
Remo let out a frustrated sigh and began pacing back and forth in front of the fireplace.
"This is insane," he muttered. "We’ve got security cameras, guards at the gate, and yet someone keeps slipping these packages through our defenses. It’s like they’re taunting us."
Matteo, who had been scrolling through his phone, suddenly spoke up. "Hey, I just got a text from one of the men. He says he saw something strange at the post office near here."
Remo’s ears perked up. "What did he see?"
"He said there was a guy there who was sending out a bunch of packages with our address on them.
He took a picture of him and sent it to me."
