Chapter 325: Accept It And Move On
Jonas looked up from the reports in front of him as the door burst open.
"Excuse you?" he hissed, coming to his feet before he even noticed who was entering his office. This level of disrespect could not be allowed to continue. Law and order had to be restored, and this was as good as any time to enforce the rules.
"You will report to the prisons now," hissed Jonas, sitting back down in his chair as he adjusted the papers in front of him. "You will be staying there for two months before going on to latrine duty. If you want to pull shit, you better be willing to clean it up after."
The soft chuckling of multiple men caused Jonas to freeze for a second before reaching for the gun strapped to the bottom of his desk.
"Derek," nodded Jonas as he looked at the man in the middle. He had been reporting for duty for over a week now, and Jonas never had any issues with him, so why was he here? "What can I do for you?"
"You can tell me where my wife is," said Derek, the smirk on his face quickly vanishing as his entire body seemed to have shifted slightly. The man standing in front of Jonas no longer looked the same, and Jonas was starting to panic.
"Are you rebels?" demanded the man, pulling out his gun and leveling it at Derek... or the man posing as Derek.
"Hardly," yawned one of the men as he walked away from the crowd at the door and sat down in one of the chairs by the desk. Realizing that none of them were taking the gun seriously, Jonas shot a single bullet at the man in the chair before pointing it back at Derek.
"Nows, dat not very friendly of you, my friend," purred the man who should have been dead.
