Be Careful What You Wish For: A Zombie Apocalypse

Chapter 303: Weak

"Huh," grunted Désiré as he watched Tank ripping through the crowd in his Hellhound form. "Don’t see dat every day."

Salvatore nodded his head with a grunt of his own as the two of them tracked Tank’s progress. There was a human man running not that far behind him. But unlike the rest of the humans, he didn’t seem to be trying to get away from the pissed off hound, but seemed to be getting closer to him.

"Wanna know a problem?" mused Désiré as he kept an eye on the female doctor in front of him.

Salvatore scoffed as if it was clear exactly what the problem was, and Désiré nodded. "Yeah. Dat’s my problem, too."

"Get your asses over here and help these people out!" called out the female doctor who had yet to introduce herself. Désiré’s eyes narrowed at the woman, but neither he nor Salvatore moved an inch.

"Imma gonna have to say non ta dat," smirked the Sin as he felt his toxic powers leaking out of him. Tank was in a tizzy, and Hattie was nowhere to be found. That meant that whatever had caused this bit of chaos had something to do with their Queen, and until she gave the okay, they weren’t going to try and fix anything.

"If you don’t help me now, I am going to kick you out of New Dawn Sanctuary," snarled the woman, her hand going green as she touched the man in front of her.

"Yous sayin’ dat like it’s a bad thing," replied Désiré as he finally walked over to the woman. Tilting his head to the side, he studied what she was doing. "Yous green."

"No shit," she snapped back, letting out a long sigh as the wounds under her hands closed up. Moving on to the other leg, she touched the bleeding wound and poured her power in. "All healers are green. We think it’s because it is a subset of an earth power."
