Chapter 202: War
"You are the Devil?" sputtered Bishop as he looked Hattie up and down. She still looked like a little kid playing dress-up with her dress and pigtails. How on earth was this the big scary Devil who controls an entire realm of demons?!?
"Guilty as charged," Hattie chuckled in reply. "Although, I suppose I owe my Maman an apology. She was always so sure that I was the spawn of a demon. I just thought it was her way of trying to break me down... who knew she was telling the truth?"
"You’re crazy, you know that, right?" pressed Bishop as he looked around the room. There was only one other angel in there beside him, and he was going to need all the allies he could get. Then again, it was said that the Sins hated the Devil more than anyone else, so maybe they would help him kill her.
And when she died, he could go back to the angel realm with his new family.
"Why is that everyone’s default?" pouted Hattie as she crossed her arms in front of her in a pout. "Yes, I know I am crazy. Get over it, or get dead. But I will not be changing any time soon."
"You hate her!" stated Bishop as he looked at Pride and Gluttony. "Help me kill her before she becomes too powerful for us to take down."
However, neither demon was paying the angel any attention whatsoever. "You are Lucifer?" whispered Gluttony, his face going completely pale as he remembered the whole conversation he had with Hattie about his creator.
"Yup," nodded Hattie as she took out a lollypop. When unwrapping it proved to be too much of a problem, she held the piece of candy out to Chang Xuefeng. "A little help, Daddy."
Chang Xuefeng chuckled softly as he took the lollypop, unwrapped it, and then gave it back to her. "You are never going to drop the Daddy thing, are you?" he asked with a sigh.
