Chapter 103: Round One
Dusk was approaching the next time I heard the sound of heavy footsteps.
"You’re up," announced the Guard. Kneeling down, he took out an inconspicuous key and undid the chains keeping me locked in.
Shifting around so that I was on my hands and feet, I crawled out of the cage. "This might be a problem," I announced, coming to my new height. "Do you have any clothes I can borrow?"
It wasn’t that I was overly modest, don’t get me wrong, but I was still wearing the red dress from the Dragon’s Lair that was short-ish on me when I was shorter. However, now I had easily grown another six inches, and the puffy skirt was barely covering anything when I stood still, let alone when I fought.
Added to the fact that the back of the dress was ripped due to Antoine’s whip, this dress wasn’t going to hold up to a sneeze, let alone movement.
"Here," growled Rip as he stomped toward the Guard. Shoving a bundle in his arms, Rip continued. "Alpha said to put her in this."
A part of me actually wondered if the Alpha had any such intentions or if this was yet another gift from Wang Tian Mu. Rip didn’t seem to respect the Alpha enough to be his lap dog, but I could be wrong.
Shrugging his shoulders, my Guard flung the clothes into my arms. "Get changed."
Rolling my eyes, I started stripping, not caring about the audience. They were more than welcome to look, but there would be no touching.
