Chapter 91: End Of Story
The days seemed to blend together, and I wasn’t upset about that.
The snow continued for more than a week, and everyone was lazing around the Lair, not worried about anything. Dante had planned for the snow, so there were more than enough supplies to keep everyone happy.
With electricity, thanks to a particular wish, there was more than enough stuff to keep people entertained.
Tonight was a movie night in the main lounge.
I wasn’t sure what movie we were going to watch, but it was a way to get even more wishes into my piggy bank. After all, if I just kept in my room with Dante and Tank, I wouldn’t be able to get more power.
And power was the key to everything.
The only thing, and it was really just a small thing, was that every time I turned around, all I could hear was Brittney’s voice.
It seemed like she couldn’t go more than two minutes without hanging off or around Dante, and even he was getting sick of it. Hell, it took him putting a gun to her forehead to get her to stop touching him.
I really didn’t know why she was so fixated on him.
Well, I did. He was smoking hot, after all, but she was going above and beyond.
She was even going against the crazy/hot chart... she was not hot enough to be as crazy as she was. And that was coming from me. I know crazy.
