Virtual Realm: My Venom Can Slay Gods

Chapter 23: Class Change

The assassin mentor didn't waste any time. With a wave of his hand, a golden light enveloped Ethan, and a system notification chimed in his ears:

Ding! Congratulations on successfully changing your class. Would you like to reallocate your free attribute points?

In Oracle, players receive one opportunity to reassign their attribute points upon their first class change. This system accommodates players like mages, who often invest in Strength early on for basic attacks due to the lack of skills. Without this option, transitioning to an Intelligence-based build would severely hinder progression. The game's design showed remarkable attention to player needs.

Ethan thought for a moment. Since he had allocated all but 5 points into Agility—perfectly matching the assassin class—he decided it wasn't necessary. He declined the option, avoiding unnecessary delays.

Ding! Congratulations, you are now a great assassin! Upon reaching each level, assassins receive an additional 2 points in Agility. This bonus increases to 4 points every 10 levels.

Every class in Oracle came with unique stat bonuses. Warriors gained Strength, mages Intelligence, shield guardians Stamina, archers a mix of Agility and Strength, and priests a combination of Intelligence and Spirit. These specialized stats complemented each class's role and playstyle.

As Ethan's class change finalized, his suppressed experience points released, instantly pushing him to level 11. His stats increased accordingly:

Level: 10 → 11

Health: 1,710 → 1,750

Mana: 150 → 170

Agility: 76 → 78
