As Kuran brought the old and rusty weapons to the floor, the other three stared at each other briefly with certain expressions on their faces and then glanced at the weapons that lay on the floor before them.
None of them had expected the Kitsuboma Clan heir to miraculously bring out a dozen mundane weapons from an old wooden box, nor did it make sense that one would find that many weapons in a desolate ruin like the one they found themselves in.
But here they were, looking at what—given their current situation—could only be considered a miracle, and despite that, however, they still had a problem.
Megumi glanced at Kuran and then cleared his throat.
"Are all of us here proficient with weapons?"
Kuran furrowed his brows and instantly turned his gaze to him; Hime freed her knees a bit, lingering for a moment while Silver quickly spoke up.
"I know the katas of the dao sword... actually, I used to practice with my elder brother before the beginning of the demon hunt."
Megumi narrowed his eyes for a moment and then glanced at the pile of weapons on the floor once again.
’There isn’t a single dao sword here.’
He heaved a sigh.
"Well, Master Xi, would you be able to manage something else? A similar weapon, perhaps?"
