Chapter 53. Hunting Event
At the academy forest entrance, Leo stood in front of the four first-year students. His sharp crimson eyes took in their faces, each showing a different reaction.
Two looked excited, one was clearly nervous, and the last—the Gold section student—stood with an air of boredom, arms crossed like he couldn’t care less, each of them having their weapons ready.
Beside Leo, Professor Gidon waited, ready to give instructions, while two other professors handled separate groups in the distance.
Straightening his posture, Leo spoke with calm authority. "Leonhardt Caulem," he began, his tone steady but commanding, "Second-year Bronze student and its current section leader. I’ll be accompanying you today on your monster hunt."
The group stared at him, their expressions varied and unspoken reactions loud. Leo tilted his head slightly. "Introductions. Start."
The boy with raven-black hair tied loosely at the back stepped forward. His voice was calm but quiet. "Kareth. Bronze section."
The next student spoke easily, a Silver section boy with shaggy dark brown hair and a casual smile. "Varkas. Silver section."
Then came Rowan, the Gold section student. He shrugged dramatically, clearly not impressed with the situation. "Rowan," he muttered. His tone and attitude were full of arrogance.
Finally, a girl with bright yellow hair stepped forward hesitantly. Her voice was soft. "Olyria. Iron section."
Leo nodded briefly. "Alright, introductions done. Now listen up—Professor Gidon will explain the rules." He stepped aside as Gidon took over.
Gidon’s voice was clear and firm as he addressed the students. "Listen up. The academy forest is vast, but it has set borders. Do not cross those borders under any circumstances" He paused, making sure they understood.
