Chapter 159: Rising Heat (R-18)
The café was alive with the Sunday afternoon buzz—coffee brewing, plates clinking, and people chattering like they had nowhere else to be. Aeri and I were tucked into a corner booth, our little hideout from the crowd. Her plate had a half-eaten, and I was nursing a black coffee, the steam curling up between us.
"You look so cute while eating," I said, keeping my voice low, teasing. My fingers brushed her thigh under the table, where her skirt had hitched up just enough to tempt me. Her skin was warm, soft, and I couldn’t resist.
Aeri’s cheeks went pink, the spoon frozen in her mouth. She swallowed hard, glancing around like she was worried someone might notice us. "Ezra," she whispered, her voice all shy and muffled, "there are people around..."
I grinned, not caring one bit. "So? I’m with the woman I love. Let ’em stare." My hand slid higher, slipping between her thighs, brushing over her panties. The fabric was thin, and I could feel her warmth already.
She let out a soft gasp, her fingers tightening around the spoon. "You’re so mean," she muttered, trying to sound annoyed, but the way her breath caught gave her away.
She took another bite of pasta, acting all casual, but then her legs parted just a bit, giving me more room. It was like she was daring me to keep going while pretending she wasn’t.
I couldn’t help but smirk. She was trying so hard to play it cool, but I knew her too well.
My fingers moved, rubbing slow circles over her panties, feeling her tense under my touch.
"You’re doing a real good job acting like this is nothing," I whispered, leaning in so my lips were close to her ear. "But I can tell you’re feeling it."
