Chapter 117: Departure of Elizabeth
The red room felt different in the late morning light, its crimson walls softened by the golden glow streaming through the open window. The air was fresh with the scent of soap and perfumes and the black leather bed sat alone in the corner, its black sheet tangled.
I stood under the shower in the bathroom of the red room where Elizabeth just washed herself few minutes ago, the warm water cascading from the nozzle with a steady *shwaaa*, pushing my long hair back as I ran my hand through it, my naked body relaxing under the soothing stream.
"Sighhhh..." I tilted my head up, exhaling deeply, letting the water wash away the sweat and heat of the night and morning with Elizabeth, the First Lady,—the president’s wife—still lingering in my mind, a surreal fire that hadn’t fully faded.
My muscles eased, the libido booster’s intensity gone, my thoughts drifting to the day ahead, a wedding I had to attend by evening, the red room a world I was stepping out of, slowly.
I turned off the shower, grabbed a towel, and dried off, slipping into a black t-shirt and black pants, the fabric cool against my skin.
I opened the bathroom door, the steam trailing behind me as I stepped into the red room, wiping my damp hair with the towel.

Elizabeth sat at a small dressing mirror near the window, her reflection catching the light as she hummed a song on her own, her black laced lingerie dress hugging her curves, her black hair with golden highlights tied loosely, her skin smooth and radiant.
She turned, her eyes meeting mine, a smile spreading across her face. "Hey, Ezra," she said, her voice warm, playful, the red room quiet, the birds chirping outside.
"Hey..." I replied, pausing mid-wipe, my towel draped over my shoulder, my voice casual but soft.
"Come here for a minute and help me with this," she said, holding up a pair of thigh-high stockings, waving them in the air, her tone light.
