Ling Momo’s lips curled slightly as she tried to give herself a smile. However, just as her lips were halfway through the motion, the door of a restroom stall was pushed open, and the crisp, forceful sound of high heels clacked over. Ling Momo turned her head and saw a familiar figure.

Jian Chenxi obviously didn’t expect anyone to be in the restroom. She paused, then seeing Ling Momo’s face, she froze for a moment before standing up straight, "Ling Momo, what are you doing here?"
Ling Momo slowly turned around, facing Jian Chenxi, smiling without a word.
Jian Chenxi looked Ling Momo up and down, a hint of contempt in her eyes, "Are you accompanying someone to watch the performance?"
Jian Chenxi spoke with undisguised disdain.
Ling Momo naturally knew what Jian Chenxi meant. Tonight, the guests were all big names, and someone as unknown as her, an inconspicuous character, would never be guessed by Jian Chenxi to be part of the night’s program.
