He entered the bedroom, and Li Qingshen went into the bathroom to take a shower. He had just applied shampoo when he heard the doorbell ring downstairs. A glint of excitement flashed in Li Qingshen’s eyes; he didn’t bother to rinse off the lather in his hair, grabbed a towel haphazardly to cover his body, and sprinted outside.
Li Qingshen had just stepped out of the bathroom, his entire body still dripping wet, and naturally, his footwear was soaked as well.
The villa’s floor was made of wood, and Li Qingshen was hurrying so much that several times he nearly slipped and fell while descending the stairs. Fortunately, his quick reflexes allowed him to grab the stair’s handrail just in time to narrowly escape trouble.
Li Qingshen quickly crossed the villa’s first-floor hall and casually pressed the switch beside him, then pushed open the door forcefully.
A man was standing outside.
"Excuse me, is this Mr. Li?"
As the man spoke, he lifted his head and upon seeing Li Qingshen, who was clad only in a towel and still had white foam in his hair, he realized that Li Qingshen was apparently still in the middle of taking a bath.
However, this didn’t seem to affect Li Qingshen’s demeanor.
"This is your delivery."
The delivery man handed a paper bag to Li Qingshen.
Li Qingshen frowned slightly, feeling somewhat suspicious.
