Chapter 232: Song of the Betrayed (12)
I woke up one night.
Maurice remembers it as an old and worn-out house, but it was a nice, well-maintained family home.
Victoria hadn't been seen since dinner, but what could I do?
I was a little harsh, wasn't I?
I woke up in the morning, said hello to the four adults, and left the house. Why only four?
Victoria didn't want to meet me, and she kept complaining to Beatrice when she called her, and didn't come out.
So I said hello to everyone else except Victoria and headed to the station.
Surprisingly, there were a few people standing in the empty train station, whether there were people going to work here or there was something else going on.
When I was about to go inside, a person who seemed to be a station attendant came and asked if I wanted to buy a ticket.
Now that I think about it, there was something like that.
I handed him the business card I had received yesterday and asked if I could contact him. I was trying to see if he had a chance to get a Royal Transport Pass, but unfortunately, the station attendant shook his head from side to side.
They said there was no way to contact me directly from here, even if it was a letter.
