Vol 2. Chapter 62.2
After learning about Aquila’s plan, Winter couldn’t hide his shock.
“To think you’d resort to such a misguided method...”
The look in Winter’s eyes as he stared at Aquila was now filled with killing intent.
“Dark magic is a practice banned by the Empire. The side effects of using it don’t just affect individuals—they bring harm to the entire nation. And yet, you still intend to use it?”
“I don’t care about any of that as long as I have Salvia.”
Even in front of his senior, Winter, Aquila made no effort to hide his hostility.
It had always been this way between them.
Ever since they possessed opposing aura attributes, there had been an underlying sense of unease between them. But that discomfort reached its peak when they both came to desire the same thing.
Aquila thought Winter’s apparent lack of desperation for Salvia was laughable.
Winter condemned Aquila’s willingness to use any means necessary.
Now, with both of them poised to draw their swords, Ishina—who had been watching with an amused smile—stepped between them.
“Really, what’s with both of you...?”
