Chapter 1144 - 1041: Leaving
Li Zhirui dived deep into the lake, originally wandering around the bottom of the lake, looking for traces of Water Essence, but unintentionally he discovered waves of Spiritual Energy fluctuations coming from not far away. At first Li Zhirui didn’t think much of it, assuming it was a Spirit Cave of a Spirit Vein, or that a Spiritual Object had just happened to grow there by chance, and subconsciously used his Divine Sense to probe into it.
But as his Divine Sense delved deeper, Li Zhirui began to realize something was wrong because the further he went inside, the wider the entrance became. By the time he had used all his Divine Sense, he could no longer describe it as a tunnel, but rather as a not-so-small flatland.
This unexpected discovery aroused Li Zhirui’s curiosity, so he temporarily gave up looking for Water Essence and instead turned to investigate this mysterious underground space.
The tunnel initially went deep down, but after approximately several dozen miles, forming a land of a hundred miles in size, it suddenly changed, and the passage began to extend upwards.
About half an hour later, Li Zhirui emerged from the water, but the passage had not reached its end, and he could only continue to fly upwards.
After nearly fifteen minutes of dedicated flying, when Li Zhirui left the passage, what met his eyes was a boundless plain, and in the distance, one could even see an undulating mountain range.
