Feeling Song Xiaodong’s fingers through her hair, Lu Yaobing’s heart felt sweet, any confusion caused by Song Xiaodong’s earlier words were long gone.
When you’re young, love is simply love, pure and uncomplicated. Lu Yaobing now only enjoyed the sweetness of being with Song Xiaodong, dismissing all other concerns.
Yet, the sweet moment was too brief, seemingly lasting just a few seconds, as Song Xiaodong soon stopped and said, “Alright, you can sleep now.”
Lu Yaobing agreed, got up, tidied up, and climbed into her bed. Song Xiaodong switched off the light, leaving the room in darkness.
Song Xiaodong made a small gesture, ensuring Lu Yaobing fell asleep immediately.
