Moreover, using status to bully others was something Song Xiaodong despised most, and he really wanted to slap Zhao Hua to wake her up.
Even more infuriating was Zhao Qun; despite his daughter’s behavior, he hadn’t scolded her even a bit, and still looked on with a ‘spectator’ expression, further angering Song Xiaodong.
Dragon Six discreetly tugged Song Xiaodong’s arm, calming him down, and he took a deep breath, looking at Qi Lanqin, saying slowly, “You can leave now, this is none of your business.”
But Zhao Hua persisted, “Come on, Boss Song, isn’t this girl beautiful? Aren’t you tempted? I can help set you up; just some money, and she can be your mistress without any problem.”
“Enough.” Song Xiaodong slammed the table suddenly, turning his head to glare coldly at Zhao Hua.
“Why are you angry? I’m doing this for your good.” Zhao Hua was unnerved by Song Xiaodong’s stare.
Song Xiaodong said coldly, “No matter what past grievances you have with her, do you really find it amusing to humiliate her? As a deputy district chief’s daughter, do you truly feel it’s honorable to bully an ordinary person?”
Zhao Hua blushed instantly from Song Xiaodong’s rebuke, while Zhao Qun’s face turned sullen, “Director Lin, your friend has quite a temper.”
In Dragon Six’s mind, Song Xiaodong, as Young Master, was like a God; he didn’t care about Zhao Qun, a deputy district chief, especially as he felt Zhao Hua’s behavior disgraced Dragon Gate, he said in a low tone, “Your daughter’s behavior is indeed excessive.”
Zhao Qun’s face got even darker, “Director Lin, are you going to fall out with me over an outsider?”
Dragon Six glanced at Song Xiaodong, since the Princess’s identity made him apprehensive, commenting directly on her was against Dragon Gate’s taboos.
But Song Xiaodong smirked coldly, “So what, people like you father and daughter, with such poor character, make me ashamed to associate with you.” Finished speaking, he stood and left.
Dragon Six followed immediately.
Zhao Qun was furious, slammed the table, “You dare disrespect me like this?”
Seeing Song Xiaodong leaving without a backward glance, Dragon Six understood his intentions, turned and said, “Deputy District Chief Zhao, you should mind yourself, you’re not qualified to talk face-saving with my friend.” He too then walked out.
“Big talk! Just wait!” Zhao Qun slammed the table again, shouting angrily.
Song Xiaodong and Dragon Six reached downstairs, yet Song Xiaodong’s anger didn’t abate, feeling frustrated as if Zhao Hua and Zhao Qun were just anybody else, he would have handled them.
But now, their identities made it hard to deal with them, causing an internal blockage.
“Gentlemen!” Just as they were about to reach the door, Qi Lanqin chased after.
Song Xiaodong turned to Qi Lanqin, “Little sister, I apologize to you.”
“Why are you apologizing to me?” Liu Lanqin was instantly bewildered.
Song Xiaodong sighed, “We let you suffer, I truly feel guilty, and by the way, this kind of place isn’t suitable for a girl like you to work, it will bring harassment, you’d better find another job. Lin Yuan, find her a job in your company, keep her away from such trouble.”
Dragon Six immediately said, “That Zhao Hua is still in our company.”
“Fire her, she annoys me.” Song Xiaodong replied irritably.
“Okay!” Dragon Six answered without hesitation, equally displeased with Zhao Hua, with Song Xiaodong’s words, he wasn’t courteous anymore, immediately handed a business card to Qi Lanqin, “Here’s my card, you can report to my company tomorrow.”
Qi Lanqin was a bit bewildered, also somewhat skeptical, timidly said, “Thank you for your kindness, but I… but I… ”
Song Xiaodong replied, “Don’t worry, we have no ulterior motives, genuinely feel guilty. Whenever you want to work, feel free, but remember, if Zhao Hua troubles you again, find me, I’ll stand up for you.”
Meeting Song Xiaodong’s gaze, Qi Lanqin saw sincerity in his eyes, relieved in her heart, said, “Thank you for your kindness, but I’m just doing odd jobs, I’m still in college.”

“Did he tell you the password?” The colleague asked again.

“Quick, check it.” The colleague led Qi Lanqin to the restaurant’s ATM.
Inserted the card, entered the password, Qi Lanqin acted unconsciously, but when the password verified successfully, she was startled, “Never mind, one of the guests must have been drunk, we can’t touch his card.”
“Let’s just see how much balance there is.” The colleague, unable to resist curiosity, tapped the ATM a couple of times, and the screen displayed the card’s balance.
“My goodness!” The colleague exclaimed, her jaw nearly dropped, as Qi Lanqin looked at the balance, she was stunned too, seeing a seven-figure balance, the leading number wasn’t one but six, meaning there were over six million on the card.
