Shui Qingyue had taken almost half an hour to bathe, her mind a tumult, especially thinking about the potential events that might transpire upon her return; an inexplicable anxiousness gripped her.
Usually when Xiao Yingying and Miao Xuanxuan chatted, they didn’t avoid Shui Qingyue and even occasionally discussed matters of the bedroom.
Shui Qingyue, even if embarrassed the first few times listening, had eventually come to know quite a lot about their bedroom activities over time.
She knew that Song Xiaodong had great stamina, that a woman could hardly cope with him. Miao Xuanxuan always mentioned how exhausting the previous night had been, and she incessantly urged Shui Qingyue to succumb to Song Xiaodong soon to help alleviate some of the pressure.
Now alone by herself, she truly didn’t know if it would be unbearable, if she might not even be able to leave the bed tomorrow.
As her thoughts drifted, time slipped away unintentionally, and then the bathroom door was knocked on.
"Qingyue, why haven’t you finished bathing yet?" Shui Qingyue’s mother called from outside the door.
"Ah, just finishing up now," Shui Qingyue hurriedly responded and then began to dry herself, subsequently slipping on her nightgown and walking out.
"Mom, are you going to take a bath?" Shui Qingyue asked.
Shui Qingyue’s mother looked at her with a mix of exasperation and amusement. "Are you nervous?"
Shui Qingyue’s face flushed, but she nodded lightly.
"What’s there to be nervous about? This sort of thing, after the initial pain, becomes very enjoyable thereafter."
