Chapter 498 - 499 Alone at Home with Song Xiaoru
A few more days passed, and the weather had become increasingly chilly. Everyone was already wearing long sleeves and pants; if you didn’t keep the air conditioner on in the room, it was quite cold to sleep at night.

Song Xiaoru made some room for him and covered his legs with the blanket as she replied, "The air is too dry with the air conditioner on; it doesn’t feel comfortable, and it’s not that cold."
Song Xiaodong frowned and said, "I never knew you had this quirk; let me take a look for you."
Song Xiaoru chuckled lightly and said, "It’s not really a quirk, we just never had an air conditioner in our house before, so I got used to it. Especially when I’m sleeping, I really don’t like the warm wind blown by the air conditioner."
Song Xiaodong stretched an arm around Song Xiaoru’s waist and commented, "You’re right, it’s not good to always use the air conditioner. It’ll be better once the heating is turned on in a few days."
"Stop bothering me, I still have work to do. Just stay here quietly," Song Xiaoru pulled away Song Xiaodong’s arm.
"Work is never done, it’s rest time now, stop working," Song Xiaodong wrapped his arms around Song Xiaoru’s waist again.
