Return to the City: The Strongest King

Chen Fei stood in the hallway, pondering whether to go in and check the situation when he saw a figure flying out of Song Xiaodong’s office—it was none other than Zhao Dongliang.

This gave Chen Fei quite the scare. Zhao Dongliang’s way of exiting was clearly not of his own volition, and the fact that Song Xiaodong had actually laid hands on someone meant the situation had seriously escalated.

Zhao Dongliang got up and cursed loudly before charging back into Song Xiaodong’s office. He stood over six feet tall and was quite robust. He absolutely considered being kicked out by Song Xiaodong as an accident.

After being hit, there was no way he could swallow this insult, so he rushed back in with the intent to wallop Song Xiaodong.

Unfortunately for him, he entered quickly but came out even faster. Not only did he fly out again, but he also crashed into the hallway wall before coming to a halt, feeling like all his bones might be broken.

"You... you fucking dare to hit me? You actually dare to hit me?" Zhao Dongliang struggled to his feet, pointing at Song Xiaodong, his face full of disbelief.

With his arm around Su Yao’s waist, Song Xiaodong walked out and looked at Zhao Dongliang coldly, saying, "This is the HR department, not your Planning department. Here, no one can bully my HR people!"

"What the hell do you think you are! Ah!"

Zhao Dongliang began to curse, but he was only halfway through when he received a hard slap on the face, which immediately made him cry out in pain and stumble, nearly falling to the ground.

"Didn’t your mother teach you how to speak? Well then, today I’ll teach you. If you dare utter another dirty word, I’ll give you another slap."

Many from the HR department poked their heads out to see. Initially, seeing Song Xiaodong hitting someone, they were all shocked. Zhao Dongliang was infamously untouchable in the company, so Song Xiaodong was in big trouble now.

But hearing what Song Xiaodong said, they all felt their spines straighten, and a sense of satisfaction washed over them.
