Chapter 184: Light Seen Again
Back at home, Song Xiaoru immediately started to tidy up the living room after their colleagues had visited; even though they had been careful, the living room was still left in a mess, and for someone as diligent as Song Xiaodong, a messy house was unbearable.
Knowing his sister’s personality, Song Xiaodong helped out a bit, and then Song Xiaoru said, "You go take a shower first. I’ll wash your clothes afterward."
Song Xiaodong chuckled, "Sister, we have two bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, and we’ve even got a fully automatic washing machine now."
Song Xiaoru was taken aback, then chuckled lightly, "I’m just not used to it yet."
Song Xiaoru went upstairs while Song Xiaodong went downstairs, and both of them took a shower. The facilities were incomparably better than their previous home, but Song Xiaodong felt as if something was missing.
After showering, Song Xiaodong walked upstairs in just his boxer shorts and bare chest.
There was a shower room in the master bedroom, and just as Song Xiaoru came out of it, she suddenly screamed and stepped back, scolding, "Dongzi, you devil, why didn’t you let me know you were coming in?"
Song Xiaodong rubbed his nose. It was just their first day living there, and he had seen Song Xiaoru naked; if it had been another woman, it certainly would have been quite sensual, "Sister, I did call out to you when I came in."
Song Xiaoru, somewhat frustrated, spoke from the bathroom, "What shout? I didn’t hear you."
"I really did shout. You probably didn’t hear me because of the shower noise."
Song Xiaoru knew Song Xiaodong wouldn’t intentionally peek at her, but now she felt rather frustrated, especially since this was the bathroom inside the bedroom and she hadn’t thought to bring clothes in, not expecting that Song Xiaodong would come in, leaving her unable to go out naked.
"Dongzi, hand me a set of clothes."
