Zheng Shuhang made this suggestion with his own calculations in mind. A medical student just out of university would have practically no real clinical experience, and coming over now would surely result in him being flustered, at the very least exposing his ineptitude and making Miao Qingqing look down on him.
The second thought was that President Cui had come to discuss a partnership with Miao Qingqing, but he didn’t actually want their companies to collaborate since it wouldn’t truly benefit his own company. He was here because he wanted to pursue Miao Qingqing, and if Song Xiaodong failed to cure President Cui, or worse, killed him, then Miao Qingqing’s family company was bound to run into trouble. That would give him an even greater chance to get close to Miao Qingqing and also sabotage the collaboration, making it a perfectly good idea that could kill two birds with one stone.
Miao Qingqing quickly said, "Yes, yes, I’ll get him here right away." With that, she took out her phone and hurriedly called Song Xiaodong, feeling relieved that she had his number, otherwise, things would be awkward now, and it might even cost a life.
