Puppet Hall

Time passed.

I used 10 dark purple lightning bolts to destroy the 10 Red Mark Puppets. Now ten more to go. Just 10 minutes had passed.

Creak!

A Red Mark Puppet appeared again. This time, I didn’t wait. I shot the dark purple lightning bolt at the puppet.

Boom!

In a flash, the dark purple lightning bolt surged forward at breakneck speed.

Before the Red Mark Puppet could make a large move, the dark purple lightning bolt appeared before the puppet.

It pierced through the chest of the Red Mark Puppet.

Boom!

A detonation occurred. The Red Mark Puppet flew backward and crashed into the same platform.

At the same time, the dark purple lightning destroyed the puppet’s hands and legs.

The broken parts fell to the ground. Only the middle part remained on the platform with a huge hole in the chest.

Time passed.

I killed the rest of the nine Red Mark Puppets in a similar way.

Exactly 20 minutes after the first puppet appeared, the mechanical voice announced that I was the winner and had cleared the medium mode with a record.

"Well, you could have killed it faster if you were closer to the platform," the ancient spirit’s voice sounded.

"Well, this shock was enough for them to handle," I replied.

The ancient spirit’s voice went silent.

Creak!

The main door opened behind me. I turned around and exited the Puppet Hall. When I came out, a huge commotion occurred.

"Unbelievable!"

"It’s unreal."

"He cleared the medium mode in 20 minutes."

"Is that puppet hall working fine?"

The Red Mark Warriors who were gathered outside spoke in disbelief.

Reece and his friends were there as well. They heard the voices of the crowd. They didn’t have other opinions; they knew Zack Lockwood had the strength to clear it, but it was way too fast.

Still, they didn’t know Zack Lockwood could have finished sooner. Marcus and his followers were in the crowd as well. They silently left the place.

Julia and her black-haired friend looked at each other.

"He should not be here. He should be in the main post," Julia commented.

"I guess it’s going to happen soon. The news must have reached them as well," her friend replied.

Julia’s eyes flickered. She was finally convinced of how foolish they had been to try recruiting him earlier. This record alone reinforced the truth about the first secret land battlefield.

On the other hand, the crowd made way for me again. I walked through the crowd before reaching the hallway. From there, I headed toward the exit.

Soon, I exited the place. I came across fast-moving cabs in the lane. I raised my hand. One of them saw me and lowered the cab from midair.

Swoosh!

The cab quietly landed and stopped before me. The cab driver asked for the destination. I told him the destination.

He agreed to drop me off. For a second, he didn’t recognise me. Taking the opportunity, I opened the door and sat down in the back seat.

Swoosh!

The car departed from the place. The driver was a middle-aged man. He was focused on driving. Seeing that, I began to enjoy the passing view.

It took him 20 minutes to reach the destination. After arriving at the place, I exited the car and paid the fare to the driver.

Swoosh!

The driver then left the place. Until the end, he didn’t recognise me, which really surprised me. Then I turned around and started heading back to my room.

A few minutes later,

I took the elevator to reach my floor. I didn’t come across anyone; I heard everyone was at their training camp.

After reaching my room, I entered and shut the door. I went to the sofa and sat down.

"What are you going to do next?" the ancient spirit’s voice asked.

"I have told you before. I’m going to improve the other elements. If the power of the other elements gets better, or if I can develop something similar to the purple lightning film, it would be better," I replied in my mind.

"Okay, you can do it," the ancient spirit’s voice replied.

Buzz!

Just then, the device buzzed. I took the device and saw the message. It was from the administration. I opened the message and read it.

"It’s from the administration. They have given me three days off," I said.

"You only spent 20 minutes in the Puppet Hall," the ancient spirit’s voice said.

"I guess this time was enough to show some improvement," I said.

Meanwhile,

The administration wanted the other warriors to focus on their training schedule.

If Zack Lockwood appeared in the training camp daily, they were sure that no other warriors would focus on their training.

They hoped that this hype would be over soon, and then the threat of the foreign creatures would dawn on them. Zack Lockwood would be fine, but what about the others? They were still weak against the foreign creatures.

One hour later,

I entered the essence chamber. The chamber door was closed. Then I went to the switch and turned it on.

The world energy entered the room. It didn’t take long for the world energy to fill the room. When the thick white mist appeared, I went to the middle of the chamber and sat cross-legged on the ground.

Then I thought of practising the blood energy force first instead of the shock force. Sometimes blood energy is invisible to others’ eyes; it could help me in the secret land battlefield.

I closed my eyes and began to practise the blood energy method. The blood rune in my mind began to throb.

It began to attract the blood energy force from the world energy in the room. The blood force energy, mixed with special energy, separated from the world energy and drifted toward my body.

The blood force along with the special force entered my body. I had tried to push it for a change last time.

I hoped that this time the change would happen. I guided the energy along the route. A red blood light appeared above the bloodstream.

The light converted the two energies into mysterious white energy which entered my bones.

The special energy that was converted into the mysterious energy brought terrible pain.

It showed that the bones were undergoing some kind of tempering.
