The green and golden lightning power covered her body like armor. It withstood the power of the dark purple lightning.
Boom!
None of the lightning bolt attacks were able to break the armor. The blonde-haired woman cracked a wide grin.
She knew her opponent was using her as a practice partner. Now that the young man’s attack was not working, she had a chance to injure him. Her legs were covered in the green and golden lightning power.
Swoosh!
In a flash, she darted out from the spot. Her speed had almost tripled. She closed the gap between them in a second.
At the same time, my gaze was locked on her. When she vanished from the spot, my senses alerted me.
"Lightning Wheel Technique!"
I used the lightning wheel technique. A dense purple lightning wheel appeared around me, beaming with dense purple lightning energy.

The blonde-haired woman appeared in a flash before me and drove her punch right into the lightning wheel.

Upon contact, the wheel exploded. The overwhelming power surged forth and struck her armor. The blonde-haired woman was forced to take a few steps backward.
At the same time, I was pushed back by the impact. The shockwave spread across the room.

The blonde-haired woman stabilized her footing before charging forward. The lightning power propelled her body with great force.
She closed the gap quickly. In a flash, she unleashed her punch.

I saw her attack approaching. A flicker of interest appeared in my eyes; this time, her attack carried immense power.
I coated my right hand in a layer of dark purple lightning. Then, I met her punch with mine.
In an instant, both of our attacks collided. The purple lightning film clashed against the beaming green and golden lightning.
The purple lightning layer broke right away. Watching with my sharp gaze, a flicker of surprise crossed my face.
I knew the attack was going to be strong, but I didn’t expect it would be this devastating.
Boom!
The dark purple lightning layer was completely destroyed. A detonation occurred.
Next, the green and golden lightning reached my right hand. The impact sent me flying backward.
In the blink of an eye, I crashed into the ground. The shockwave spread across the area.

The blonde-haired woman didn’t stop. She rushed toward the young man to attack. She felt that if she gave him any time, she would regret it.
On the other hand, I was down, circulating the ancient healing technique. The ancient spirit’s voice alerted me.
The blonde-haired woman was coming at me again. I circulated the purple lightning force once more; I wasn’t planning to give up yet.

Right as I stood up, I faced her punch. My senses were heightened. I tried to meet her strike again, this time better prepared for the impact.
The two attacks collided.

The result was the same. My right hand was forced back, and the purple lightning film broke once again as the impact struck me.
It forced me to take a few steps backward. I looked at my right hand; the surface of the skin was blackened from burns, but it wasn’t crippled.
"How is this possible?" the blonde-haired woman asked.
She had intended to destroy my right hand, but failed in her earlier attack. That was why she had struck harder the second time yet the result remained unchanged.
Her face was filled with shock, especially since she had used her inheritance power this time.
I, however, was not surprised. Though I wasn’t using other elements to fight her, they were passively supporting me.
My foundation had been strengthened by every inheritance. Beneath the skin, my hand had turned red, a result of the blood energy.
No one could break my hand easily; it hid enormous brute force.
"I don’t think you can withstand continuous attacks," she said, before lunging forward to attack again.
I braced myself to face her once more.
"Kid, why aren’t you using other elements?" the ancient spirit asked.
It knew that if the kid wanted to, he could easily kill the woman. Yet he refrained.
Boom!
I didn’t respond to the ancient spirit. Instead, I focused entirely on her. This time, she didn’t hold back and unleashed a relentless barrage of strikes.

The brief contact was enough for me to feel the pain in my right hand, but I still met her head-on.
The force pushed me backward. Before I could fully recover, she followed up with an even faster attack.
I had to use my left hand as well. As time passed, I began using both hands, coating them in the lightning film.

The explosions continued as she pushed me back. Meanwhile, I finally started drawing inspiration from her two distinct types of lightning power.
This was the reason I hadn’t used other elements. The green lightning and golden lightning could help me advance my dark purple lightning.

Yet, she couldn’t force a Half-Step Red Mark Warrior to yield. What was more, she realized the lightning power wielded by this young fellow was exceptionally formidable.
If she possessed similar power, she never would have been captured in the first place. She continued to unleash her barrage of fist strikes.
Meanwhile, my right hand began to suffer from the strain. The continuous strikes from the green and golden lightning were taking their toll.
If this went on, it would cause serious injury. My left hand, however, was not as badly damaged; I could still take more punches with it.
Yet I refused to stop. The purple lightning bolt rune in my mind was flickering. My comprehension of the purple lightning Chapter was deepening, and it would soon reach its breakthrough point.
