By then, Chu Feng had already realized how important Huangfu Shengyu was to the Huangfu Heavenly Clan, and that he could use the latter as a hostage against them.
All Huangfu Heavenly Clansmen turned to their clan chief.
“Lord Clan Chief, is that truly young master Shengyu?” a clansman asked.
They couldn’t tell if Chu Feng had conjured a fake Huangfu Shengyu to fool them. They reckoned that the clan chief should know better, given that Huangfu Shengyu was his son.
“Yes, it’s Shengyu,” the clan chief replied hoarsely.
