“I’ll give it a try.” Chu Feng clenched his fingers around the purple stone and channeled his spirit power into it.
The Seven Realms Immortal Sectmembers stared at Chu Feng with nervous eyes, but they weren’t worried about Chu Feng’s safety but that he might succeed.
The purple stone emitted an explosive surge of purple aura and assaulted Chu Feng like a venomous serpent, but Chu Feng remained unfazed. Xian Shi began to fidget nervously.
“It’s not working.” Chu Feng shook his head.
Xian Shi breathed a sigh of relief as he took the purple stone back from Chu Feng. “You need not feel self-reproach. This purple stone is not easy to refine.”
His tone was mocking despite his consoling words.
Chu Feng paid no heed to his mocking tone and smiled. “It’s harder than I thought.”
