The Divine Deer knew that Chu Feng would soon recover under the golden light’s healing despite his severe injuries, so she wasn’t worried about him. She was only moved by his earlier valiance.
She bent down and gently stroked Chu Feng’s face with her snowy-white, slender palm. A mesmerizing smile formed on her lips as her eyes narrowed into beautiful crescents. It was a contemplative but gentle smile.
Seconds later, she morphed into a white light and returned to Chu Feng’s body.
Just as she had guessed, it didn’t take long for Chu Feng to recover under the golden grass’ treatment. Not only did his soul fully recover, but his body was restored as well. It didn’t take him long to regain consciousness.
“You’re awake, Chu Feng. How do you feel?”
Even though Eggy shared senses with Chu Feng, it only worked when he was conscious. She didn’t know that the Divine Deer had come out, and she didn’t hear her words either. Thus, she was only concerned about Chu Feng’s safety.
“I’m fine. It doesn’t hurt anymore. Instead, I feel refreshed,” Chu Feng said merrily as he leaped to his feet.
Through Chu Feng’s eyes, Eggy could tell that his body had fully recovered.
