As usual, she was speaking in a manner much more suited to someone many years her senior.

The amused smile that the little girl in pink wore quickly turned to a look of anxiety, and she was worried that a physical altercation would break out between the two.

It then also dawned on him that Wei Bo also seemed to have been rather fond of Pei Qian, and with that in mind, he was forced to take the approach of appeasement as he sprang to his feet and said with a fawning smile, "Don't be like that, you should learn to take a joke!
