My Dad is Too Strong

Chapter 97

Tonight’s menu was kimchi jjigae[1], which turned out perfectly with aged kimchi, pork, tofu, and green onions simmering in the pot. There was no need for special seasoning; just the kimchi brine alone created a spicy, tangy flavor.

Recently, Byeol had developed quite a taste for Korean food.

“You’re eating so well,” Do-Jun commented, watching Byeol dipping rice into the stew and taking spoonful after spoonful.

He smiled contently, propping his chin up with one hand.

Meanwhile, Yoon-Hee seemed a bit nervous. Since the kimchi was spicy, she worried that young Byeol might choke or suffer if it was too much for her.

“Make sure to chew it well, okay?” she said to Byeol.

Mhm.”

Yoon-Hee was so focused on Byeol that her own bowl of rice was almost untouched.

Seeing this, Do-Jun chuckled softly and mumbled, “You’re like a real mom.”

Hearing that, Yoon-Hee blushed, looking a bit flustered.

“T-that was... a compliment, right?” she asked.
