Chapter 775 - 464: His Shadow

Only Jiang Ning was in the bedroom.
His uncle Jiang Qitian’s loud voice came from the smartphone speaker: "When will you come over for a meal? Your cousins are planning a trip in a few days. They say they’re going to Qin Island to see the sea. You should come along, and you won’t have to pay a cent."
As soon as he finished speaking, his aunt’s warm voice echoed from the phone:
"Right, Ningning, one more person doesn’t make a difference. Come join us; the more, the merrier."
Jiang Ning was stunned for a moment. In his previous life, during every trip, his aunt had never invited him, and Shen Qing’e was always included.
Every time the relatives returned from their trips, the cousins and Shen Qing’e would sit in the living room, sharing tales of what they had seen and experienced along the way, the scenery, the food, the culture, how interesting it all was.
Jiang Ning could never join in; he could only stand by and offer an awkward laugh.
Occasionally, Shen Qing’e would show him photos she took on her trips, telling him how much he missed out.
Those memories involuntarily surfaced in his mind, but Jiang Ning’s expression remained unchanged as he refused:
