"Yami Cromwell!" the captain shouted, shaking his head in disappointment. "You shouldn’t have done that. Clearly, these guys are no match for you!" he added, bolting straight at Yami with a scowl on his face.
In response, Yami bolted forward as well, and in the next instant...

A thunderous boom rang out in the house, causing the walls to creak under the pressure as both forces clashed with raw vigor. This wasn’t a battle of weapon mastery or refined swordsmanship—no, neither of the two men wielded weapons.

"You really shouldn’t have barged into my home," Yami growled. "Because you don’t know who you’re dealing with."
With those words, he bent his knees and pushed off with explosive strength. Though his fists were still caught in the captain’s grasp, Yami leapt into the air and twisted his hips sharply.
His foot swung around in a fierce arc, smashing into the captain’s face and forcing the man to release his grip while skidding back from the force of the blow.
