"Can we go around it?" Ethan thought for a moment, then asked.
"We could... but doing that would almost definitely catch the attention of the Storm Kingdom and Gemspire Kingdom’s border legions!" Corvan said, his face twisted in misery. If he got spotted, he was screwed—no two ways about it!
"Border legions, huh..." Ethan’s eyes narrowed thoughtfully at that.
The so-called border legions were the military forces stationed along the borders of the Storm Kingdom and Gemspire Kingdom.
And generally speaking, the strength of a kingdom’s border legions wasn’t anything to scoff at. In fact, they were often seriously powerful—packed with Legendary Units, maybe even Mythic Units, and orange-tier Legendary Heroes.
Sure, even if they did run into them, Ethan wasn’t exactly scared. But it would definitely be a hassle—and it could throw a wrench into his plans.
Thinking it over, Ethan turned to Kyros and Auremax and asked, "Kyros, Auremax, can we just punch straight through this place?"
"Shouldn’t be a problem," Auremax said calmly, giving the raging, dangerous patch of magic mist ahead a quick glance. His face was completely unbothered.
This place might be a deathtrap for others, but for a Mythic Ace Unit like him? It was nothing.
"Don’t worry, Master! The sea’s my turf! This little patch of mist can’t stop me!" Kyros chimed in, flashing a bright, confident grin.
And he wasn’t wrong—the ocean was his domain.
