However, she didn’t lash out. Instead, she turned to glance indifferently at the trembling old man beside her.
"Mr. Ethan, this was Sterling Group’s mistake. Whitestone was blind and reckless to provoke you... The consequences he’s facing now are entirely his own doing. We accept that."
But Ethan remained silent, his expression even showing a hint of impatience.
Seeing this, the trembling old man grew even more terrified. After all, Ethan hadn’t even accepted Scarlet Queen’s apology earlier.
Without hesitation, he bent at the waist and bowed repeatedly. "Mr. Ethan, I was wrong. Please, spare Sterling Group... Give us a way out."

Edward’s face lit up, thinking Ethan was finally giving him a way out. He quickly responded, "I’m Edward Sterling, chairman of Sterling Group..."
"So, by that logic, you and I should have a grudge too, shouldn’t we?" Ethan interrupted before Edward could finish.
