Chapter 130: Not invited but she will still go
With a groggy mind, Ella dragged herself to the door.
When she opened it, she was greeted with an abrupt hug. Soon, her night suit had patches of wetness as Esther squeezed all the water content out of her eyes.
"Sis, how could this happen!"
Ella was fully snapped awake with that shriek.
"I am not dead yet, Essie. What are you crying for?"
Esther pulled back to look at Ella. But for a moment, she froze.
It was past midnight and Ella had obviously woken up from sleep but her skin seemed to be glowing. Her face looked thinner, and unlike before where her features were covered in her face fat, they were prominent.
"She rushed here as soon as she heard that you are in trouble and this is how you treat her? Quite ungrateful," A voice sounded from behind.
Ella tilted her head to the side and noticed Violet, Esther’s roommate standing near the door.
Esther snapped out of her reverie, "Sister, if you don’t want me here, I can leave..."
’’Since you are already here at this hour, it must be something urgent. Come on in."
