Chapter 26: Leaving Loguetown.
"Lieutenant Commander Lamy, see, I was right, this kid can handle it!" Captain Hobart couldn't hide his smugness. But he was actually quite surprised because Ryuen's strength exceeded his expectations.
"Yes, Captain Hobart, he is indeed quite strong. But Captain Hobart, we still need to rescue Marino." Lieutenant Commander Rami's face remained cold.
As a Lieutenant Commander of Marine Headquarters, Marino wasn't someone their Loguetown base could handle, otherwise, Hobart wouldn't have let Marino do evil for so long.
"You're right, I almost forgot, thanks for the reminder, Lieutenant Commander Lamy." With Lamy's reminder, Hobart realized they still needed to find Marino, or else Marino's backers would come after him.
Hobart immediately ordered the Marine warship to retrieve Marino, and he also locked up Marino's team of Marines in the base's prison. If he couldn't deal with Marino, he could at least deal with these Marines.
He took this opportunity to cut off Marino's wings in Loguetown.
By now, it was completely dark.
In a large bed room at the inn, little Nami's face was filled with uncontrollable excitement.
That was a Marine Lieutenant Commander, and Ryuen had dealt with him so easily. Now she had a better understanding of Ryuen's strength.
"Alright, Nami, even though I'm strong and can protect you, you still need to keep training." Ryuen looked at Nami's excited face and knew what she was thinking.
She was probably thinking she could slack off, seeing how strong Ryuen was, she felt she didn't need to train so hard.
