Chapter 16: Setting Sail Again.
A month passed quickly, and it was finally time to go to Loguetown!
This time, with Bellemere's permission, Ryuen and Nami didn't have to sneak out to sea.
At the door, Bellemere and Nojiko watched Ryuen and Nami with worried looks.
As for Sheriff Genzo, he had already gone to patrol the village, which was his most important daily task.
"Ryuen, Nami, even though I agreed to let you go to sea, you must be careful, understand? If you get hurt, I won't let you go to sea again!" Bellemere said, looking at Ryuen and Nami with a mix of worry and seriousness.
"Don't worry, Bellemere, I'll protect Nami and myself!" Ryuen promised seriously.
"That's right, Bellemere, Ryuen is really strong!" Little Nami said confidently.
Now that Ryuen could lift a three-thousand-pound boulder, Nami felt she could go anywhere with Ryuen by her side!
"Alright, go on then, and remember to come back early!" Bellemere said gently, looking at the two about to leave.
Young birds always have to grow up, and eventually, she wouldn't be able to hold them back. It was just a matter of letting go sooner or later.
Besides, Ryuen was a very reliable kid, which made Bellemere feel at ease.
