Chapter 259 - 255: When Will it Go Bankrupt?
On the last day of summer vacation, He Fang and Qin Guanglin didn’t go anywhere. They stayed at home and watched movies all day, and in the evening, they gave themselves a little break by not going to the gym. Instead, they lay on the bed, heads together, playing Fight the Landlord.
Despite Qin Guanglin’s occasional meticulous guidance, He Fang’s skills had not improved at all. She was still a money scatterer, living off the bare minimum each day.
Occasionally, Qin Guanglin would let her win some beans which felt like a festival, but if luck was not on her side and she lost her subsidy, she would nag for days until Qin Guanglin won it back for her.
"School starts tomorrow, ah~"
After finishing a game, He Fang lay back and sighed while looking at the ceiling.
The start of school was as stressful for teachers as it was for students. The bustling new semester was about to start, and there was a pile of things waiting to be done.
"Anyway, it’s just a few classes a day, what’s there to sigh about? Isn’t it pretty easy?"
"I still have to assign homework and grade papers every day... It’s not just standing on the podium and talking." He Fang reached up, pretending to grab at something, then turned her head, "Guess how many unlucky students will have their summer homework eaten by dogs, washed in the washing machine, or accidentally left at home tomorrow?"
"...Students really have it tough." Qin Guanglin pictured Little Fatty’s snotty, tear-stained face in his mind.
No need to guess; that guy was sure to get a beating with a broomstick again.
He Fang suddenly stretched out her foot and kicked him, "You said you were going to take me out during the summer vacation, and now school starts tomorrow, and we haven’t gone anywhere."
