After escaping from the chained axe maniac, there was no further pursuit. Qin Guanglin still walked in front, with He Fang holding his hand, no longer afraid as she had been at the beginning, and calmly followed him, walking slowly.
"Why aren't you scared anymore?" As they neared the exit, he turned his head to ask.
He Fang smiled up at him, "When you held me and ran, I stopped being scared."
"I... ah!" Qin Guanglin was about to speak when the ground suddenly shook violently, nearly making him jump. The mannequins were there just to scare people, but this thing had a physical impact.
"Be careful, this is the last trap," he said, looking down at the large metal plate that moved under his feet, wondering where the force came from.
He Fang took a big step, avoiding the plate, then walked forward two more steps and lifted a curtain. Suddenly, the view opened up.
"Congratulations on passing Ghost City Mysterious." The chubby man had taken off his mask at some point, his round face smiling at them. "Take care on your way out."
"Something big chased us inside." Qin Guanglin eyed the fat man's face suspiciously. "Was it you?"
"No, not at all; there are no staff inside now." The fat man waved his hands hastily. "It's a ghost city, anything unusual is possible."
"Thanks for your hard work." Qin Guanglin heard the wordplay and didn't dwell on the issue, holding He Fang's small hand as they walked out.
