Chapter 145: Private Jet.
Lukas sighed, and with his mortal understanding, he could only nod and write a check for them. He gave them a hundred thousand dollar check, and Annie took it and then showed Bella with a smile.
Lukas looked somewhat tired with their little play, so he sat on the couch and ordered a light dessert for himself. He wanted something cold too, so he ordered a luxurious ice cream from the ice cream parlor downstairs.
"You order only for yourself?"
Annie asked, she was more cheerful than before and sat beside Lukas and took the ice cream for herself and even gave some to Bella as well.
Lukas was getting a little frustrated with their behavior and also wanted to go out as soon as possible and return when their chumminess vanished.
"I will go and stay at your house today, you stay here, Annie."
Lukas said, then went ahead and left the hotel. Annie and Bella did try to stop him, but he just went ahead and left the hotel and drove back to Princeton.
Ring-Ring
Lukas’s phone rang, It was Henry once again, he decided to receive it.
"Coach, that’s rare, you almost never call me twice a day."
Lukas said with a smile on his face that he was driving while it was eleven o’clock at night and the roads were mostly vacant.
