Chapter 125: The Architect.(2/2)
Lukas, after hearing the butler really behaved and entered the mansion, was now not that eager to meet this billionaire who was throwing cars at him, he wanted to go home and relax his mind, but he had to meet this man.
As Lukas walked, he marveled at how good-looking this mansion was. Sunlight filled the living room through tall, arched windows, casting a warm glow on the polished wood floors and soft, patterned rug. Plush sofas and armchairs in muted cream and deep burgundy formed a cozy seating area around a low marble table set with delicate china teacups. A maid stood quietly to one side, ready to attend to any need. Behind the table, a man sat upright in a high-back chair, sipping tea from a dainty cup. His silver hair was neatly combed, and his tailored suit looked elegant and refined, giving him an air of calm politeness as he waited for Lukas.
"I see you brought him, Ronald. Thank you!" The man said in a very soft tone, but Lukas could hear him from far away. Lukas saw Ronald giving a bow before taking his leave.
"Lukas, come let me see you clearly. My eyes are getting old and can’t see anything beyond five feet."
The man in the chair said, then waved his hand to dismiss the maid. Lukas, nodding his head, went ahead and stood in front of the old man.
"I see, you are as handsome as they say, so you must be wondering why I disturbed you out of nowhere?" Sit down, give me ten minutes, and then you can go.
The old man said kindly, even smiled at Lukas, took a sip from his cup, and pulled out a key from his desk drawer.
"This is the key to that car I gave you. I hope you don’t give it away. My name is Leopold Von Creden, also known as The Architect."
The old man introduced himself with a smile and waited for Lukas to introduce himself.
