" I will look into it, don’t worry, he’s too petty and too old to understand modern-day business," Henry said, with a smile on his face.
" Well, he was not actually wrong, if it was not me in question," Lukas said. He was a little smug about it.
" Well, I’ll leave you to it. Be ready at seven. I’ll take you to the studio myself, it is right beside the stadium," Henry said, then stood up, and before he could go out, he stopped in his tracks and looked at Lukas in the eyes.
" Just don’t get caught." Henry, saying this, smiled and then left Lukas’s apartment.
" Sigh! Maybe it’s about time I take up more responsibilities," Lukas said. While still seated on his couch, he was thinking about Bella and everything that just happened.
Then Lukas saw the check still placed on the table, which he gave to Bella, he picked it up and tore it, then wrote a $20,000 check for her and called her over.
She first peeked outside with her head fully showing, then came out as she didn’t see Henry anymore, her face was red as if someone had pinched her whole face then, lowering her head, she came to Lukas.
" So! You didn’t get out. I thought you were outside," Lukas said. He was smiling a little as she was not seeing his face.
" I...wanted to but was reading my book," Bella said. Her face was flushed, and she was too embarrassed to look at Lukas.
