Chapter 11: Buying a Car.(2/2)
"Please show me," Lukas said, as he showed interest in that car.
"Very well then, gentlemen, follow me." Mr. Brown smilingly took both Lukas and the coach inside the dealership.
"These cars are generally a little expensive when you buy them new, but I have a piece that is almost new and half the price," Mr. Brown happily said, then brought Lukas and Coach to a side of the dealership where every car was covered.
"This one here is a BMW E46 M3. It has full wooden trim and has the highest quality sound system. Usually with such a condition, I would sell it for 36-37 thousand, but for Coach Henry, I would just give it to you for 31 thousand." Mr. Brown saying this uncovered an ash-colored car.
Lukas was instantly mesmerized with the car, it looked new and fantastic. He was sure if he got it at thirty-one thousand now, he could resell it at a much higher price because this model is at $55,000 brand new, and this one looks almost new.
"Done. I like this car. I would buy it." Lukas instantly decided to buy this car, which is a great deal, and although it won't be a head-turner everywhere, he doesn't need a head-turner, he needs a reliable and good car.
"Alright, Are you paying with cash or a cheque? " Mr. Brown asked, as he would have to process everything now.
"Cash," Lukas replied, he was not that great of a talker, so he replied with as few words as he could.
"Alright come to my office, please." Mr. Brown didn't dilly-dally and went forward towards his office, which was on the second floor, Lukas and Coach Henry followed suit.
It took Lukas one hour to complete the paperwork, Henry left half an hour earlier as he had some work to do and couldn't stay for an hour.
Lukas was grateful, and as Henry was leaving, he promised to be free on Sunday. After everything was done, Mr. Brown gave the keys of the car to Lukas with a smile and walked with him to the car.
