Chapter 20: The Snipe and the Clam Grapple
"Aooo! You villains! Evil demons! Bastards! You scum!!"
The assassin wails and screams! Gang fists strike chaotically! Claws fly! Sending sand and stones flying! Clawing mountains apart and splitting the earth!
Tie Dan remains silent, lying flat on the ground.
This assassin is indeed a master; although the repeated starting and stopping exhausts him, he can still, in the blink of an eye, unleash the Fifteen Layers of Gang Fist, shattering half of Tie Dan's body, crushing his bones, blasting him until he is bloody and on the brink of death.
But despite being severely injured, Tie Dan is not worried at all.
Instead, the more hopeless the situation, the calmer and clearer his mind becomes.
The opponent is indeed formidable; the Golden Bell Shield is not just for show. Even if the mask is broken, there's still Divine Gang protecting him. Judging by the feel from the sword just now, even if he used his full ten layers of sword energy, it would be difficult to kill him with one strike like the Demon Fox. Being able to thrust the sword into the brain for a heavy injury is already a success.
During the struggle of the previous two moves, although it exhausted some of the opponent's fist force, it was not enough to avoid death with one punch. But the assassin, rich in experience, immediately saw through Tie Dan's lack of confidence. This punch was indeed fierce, coming fast, and in an instant, he could only muster thirty percent of his sword energy to blind the masked man's eyes.
There's no other trick now, might as well play dead. After all, where could he run to in this state? If he moves and is detected, another punch would come, and he would truly be a goner.
Although the wounds are severe, once accustomed, they aren't too bad.
After all, Tie Dan had been swallowed whole by the Wolf Demon just now, all his muscles and bones nearly crushed into paste, and wasn't it through that catfish adventure that he recovered? As long as he can hold on for a while, there might be a turning point; by then, perhaps swallowing the Demon Core of the Crow will replenish his essence blood and he might even rebuild his true body and gain another life.
