"Do you need me to pull some strings? But don’t you know my biological dad... What do you need me to do?"

"I don’t need you to pull strings; I want to ask you whether you’d like to join me for the meeting. Perhaps through this, you could secure a stable place in your family. At the very least, they won’t look down on you and your mother anymore!"
