"It’s about time! Hurry up and take this barrier down!" Instructed Jules impatiently, as Tacitus came into sight, approaching the hotel with a member of the APF escorting him.
"Yeah, okay, but you don’t have to yell, you know," He sighed, getting closer to the barrier, before it disappeared in the blink of an eye as he activated his Nullification Magic.
"Oh, my, how impressive, he took it down in an instant," Mused Antel in surprise.
"Alright, let’s get in there and help the others. Some of them might be in trouble, so we should hurry, before it’s too late," Remarked Aster with a grimace.
"Agreed, we cannot allow any of our comrades to die," Nodded Wistari, as the ground began to approach the entrance.
"Clear the rubble away as fast as you can, we don’t have a second to waste," Frowned Jules, as she glanced at Aster.
"Yeah, got it. I can’t just blast it away though, that wall is looking pretty unstable. I’ll have to telekinetically lift the chunks of rubble out of the way and-...," Began Aster, before trailing off a deafening explosion rang out.
The group turned their gazes up as a fierce blast erupted out from around the middle of the hotel, from inside one of the rooms.
Large chunks of concrete and shards of glass began raining down as a thick cloud of smoke billowed out, Aster quickly putting up a telekinetic wall above the group to shield them from the falling rubble.
