Chapter 185: The Aeroraptor Queen(Part 2)
Rione’s eyes widened in alarm as the Aeroraptor Queen shot towards him with immense speed, driving its claws forward as it closed in on him.
He quickly tilted his head across, grimacing as the claws sliced across his right cheek and cut through the middle of his ear, before the Monster swiftly sprang back as he swung his hammer up, evading the swing before snapping open its jaws and firing out a pressurized blast of water.
Rione whipped his hammer across while channeling lightning through it, a burst of steam erupting as he vaporized the water upon impact, before quickly turning his gaze up as the Monster Queen zipped up into the air and unleashed a roaring blast of flames towards him.
He raced away as fast as he could, right in the nick of time as the flames slammed onto the spot where he’d been standing, an intense burst of heat erupting upon impact, before he quickly spun around and raised his hammer up defensively as the Monster Queen came swooping down towards him with immense speed.
A sharp clang rang out as the Monster’s claws collided against the handle of his hammer, before he winced in pain as a deep gash appeared across the top of his left shoulder, as the mutated Aeroraptor shot past him and clawed at his shoulder, blood streaming out and running down his chest.
As the Monster Queen landed behind him, Rione gritted his teeth and turned around while charging lightning into his hammer, thrusting it towards the Monster and unleashing an intense blast of lightning.
The Monster leapt up to evade the attack before unleashing a powerful flap of its wings to launch itself towards Rione, driving its claws forward.
He managed to partially deflect the thrust of its claws with the handle of his hammer, before letting out a stifled cry of pain as the claws plunged into his right shoulder, tearing through his skin and flesh and striking the bone, an agonized shudder erupting across his body.
"Now, you die," Growled the Monster, starting to snap its jaws at Rione’s throat.
