Chapter 120: The Vault
"Anyone find anything yet?" Called out Jules, as she tapped the tiles with the sheath of her sword.
"Nope, nothing over here."
"Same here."
"Are we sure it’s really here? For all we know, the previous King lied to Reiss."
It was the next day, the 10th of April, 1919, around midday. Jules, along with Siele, Rione, Tilda and a few of The Irregulars, including Aster, Tacitus, Lexia and Raven, were currently in the castle’s treasury, searching for the hidden vault that Reiss had been counting on to secure his victory.
They had been combing through the room for about half an hour, but hadn’t found anything yet. It was a pretty vast space though, and there were still a few spots that they hadn’t looked around.
"Maybe we should get a Detection Mage in here, my sensory ability only allows me to sense Mana, so I can’t locate non-living objects," Suggested Raven, as he pulled a painting off the wall.
"No, that’s a last resort...if this vault exists and it contains dangerous Ancient Magic Items, I’d prefer that not too many people know about it," Jules shook her head in response.
"Hm? Wait a sec...hey, Aster, can’t you use your Telekinetic Zone to try and find it?" Spoke up Lexia.
"Oh...uh, yeah, I can. I’m able to sense everything within the range of the Spell, so yeah...I’ll activate it now," He replied sheepishly.
"Wha-...then why haven’t you been using it this whole time!?" Frowned Jules incredulously.
